Welcome to the world of Aurelium – a planet quite different from our own, Earth. Here, lives are sustained by sound frequencies. Unlike humans, who consume food for survival, the eccentric creatures on Aurelium survive on sounds. Sound is the only food in Aurelium.
While some sounds are enriching, specific frequencies are toxic and disrupt the harmony of life. The protagonist of our concert is a creature from Aurelium. His name is Tungrel. Like his fellow planet-dwellers, Tungrel survives on the vitalities of sounds. But there is a characteristic feature that resonates with humans – his emotion, his ability to feel. Like humans on Earth, Tungrel is a sentient being. However, his sensations are mostly enriched, vitalized, and energized by sounds. We are in the middle of an unexpected crisis in Aurelium, where people suffer from hearing loss – an endemic that can shrink the planet into dust, bereft of the capacity to hear. Such a crisis could be resolved by planting unique sounds that have the capacity to revitalize the pulse of an Aurelian creature by stimulating its senses with pleasure.
